I really like the composition here and how you basically make the eyes of the viewer go all over the picture with the path on the right side and the superb light on the left side. Might be a coincidence or thought out, but it's very well done in my opinion.

The lighting and the rays really create a peaceful atmosphere and I love the strong contrast and the fact that you can really see the rays coming through the trees.

I also really like that it reminds me strongly of Autumn, even while there's basically not that much red and a lot of green. I think it might be the low sun creating that effect on me.

Great capture!

This is beautiful. I can imagine an early morning walking down that trail alone or riding bareback on horses???
Either way, I adore this and you've earned yourself another watcher my friend.

Oh my. This i a very beautiful piece, the lighting is magnificent.
Though if your looking for some good critique then here it is:
The contrast in the image is too strong. Unless that was what you were going for, I suggest you take this picture at a time of day when the light is much more dull. Now take a close look at this picture and understand what I'm saying.
Beautiful bright light through a set of 10-12 trees. Then on the right a thick mesh of 100 trees in dark shadow. Very contrasting, when I look at this piece I cannot truly see this image as a WHOLE.
And I mean this as in, my eyes can't observe the whole picture. My eyes are either to the left looking at the bright light and few trees, or looking right to the bunches of trees and darkness.
Try and tone down the contrast between the two.
OR
You could try to do some work to make it so that the light fades into the darkness, but slowly. And again as you can see, there is a sharp jump from light to dark in this picture.
But other than what I said, the lighting is amazing. Is this real lighting? and if so where do you live? How do you get such beautiful lights. Heck where I am I've only seen such lighting twice over the course of my whole life. (I'm 17)
Well thats all from me. Sorry for the long comment, buuuut it said you were lookin for some critique so I didn't worry about how much room this'd take up :P

O EM G, you criticize me, you're so cruel. :( /jk

Yeah, I can totally relate to what you're saying, maybe I'll try to edit this picture later on. (:

Absoluty, yes. I'd never put in fake light in my pictures. You just have to get up early on a mist day when the sun is shining.
In the rainforest for example you will have this light all the time I guess. B/c it's very misty and the sun is shining.
I also saw such rays only about ten times or so, you just have to go out a lot. :'D

hi again!
this is so inspiring. It makes me want to take photos of where I walk. is this where you walk? I would like to walk down this path. I like paths!
I love the feel of coolness in this photo but just enough sun to make it warm.

Not really, I just grab my bike and drive randomly around, this path is like 8 kilometer away from my home.
