Had this idea the whole day and just had to make
a little photo trip after work. I realized a lot lately
and understood i was doing things wrong. Well,
this capture means something for me, hope you
like it, too. Keep it up. <3

First off, I would like to say that you have come a very long way with your photography, and I have to commend you on that. Now, for the critique.
I absolutely love the fact that you put the photo in black and white. It gave it more of effect and the quality looks much better that way. Usually with a lot of light paintings I've seen, the light is a it messy, but this is very clear except in some spots where it has more of a bump (but that is minor. I do also see where the person's legs who was doing the light painting, but then again, its hard to hide it, so I commend you for doing such a great job, The composition of the photo is very well done, and I enjoy the placement.

All in all, I love this photo and I think what you have done is extraordinary. Keep up the great work! :la:

did you just use photoshop to edit the person out?
Reply
:iconpatrickruegheimer:
PatrickRuegheimer Featured By Owner Oct 19, 2011   Photographer
Photoshop was only used for colors/contrast.
Also the person (me), is still visible at the bottom.
It's called light painting or long exposure, the shutter stays open and if you move fast enough you ain't visible.

Oooh thank you. It didn't say how to make it so you can't see the person though D: Or did I not see that part?

You can see my feets if you look close.
If you do a lightpainting the shutter stays for a long time open about ~20 seconds in this shot and dark stuff in this case me which is moving will get kinda invisible.

Did that answered your question? :meow:
