cubed by *PatrickRuegheimer Suggester Says: "I'm suggesting this photograph because , the vivid colours that are exposed onto the rubiks cube and the glistening water as it cascades over the cube are quite fantastic. I love the idea of this piece and the perfect capture of this sharp picture. The timing for it is perfect and i love the contrast of the dark rubiks colours to the shining water. This is a superb piece which i think the whole of the deviantArt community would benefit form seeing." ( Suggested by ~Fred-Eye-Inc and Featured by ^Kaz-D )

Wow, I must say, I'm impressed! There are only a few minor problems, but overall, I love it! In fact, it's in my Favorites!
One problem I've spotted is that, the Red is too bright, and the Blue is too deep, but it's only minor. The positioning of the cube makes it look 3D, nobody can master your way with your Camera and Point Of View. The Still Life water is quite remarkable, as you know how fast water can move with Gravity, and how you captured it at the right time and space, it makes this picture be dead clear to be an attraction of deviantArt. Capturing every drop the Rubik's Cube generated and separated makes it seem as if it were lifted by a clear, crisp, and rare geyser.
Overall, Marvelous Job!

This is incredible! You have captured the movement in the water superbly.Everything is so clear and crisp.
It must have taken some time to engineer this idea and get the full effect.
I think the positioning of the cube has allowed for more depth too a 3d image almost.
They way you have caught the water streaming off the top of the cube too is brilliant.
There is also some excellent movement in the water around the subject matter.
You have also managed to capture the reflection too super effective I'd say.
It is difficult to fault this piece the clarity is astounding.
Such a shame that this is not in :iconxpose-it:

Hi,
I have a canon eos 500D and really like to photograph a bit macro, but also
dog portraits etc. I'v seed the Tamron A014 zoomlens, 18-200mm EF, f/3.5-6.3
and i think thats the one you use? Is it a good lens? I can buy it for 159 euros,
is that a good price?

Nice photo by the way!

Nope, I use Canon lenses. But also 18-200mm.

I love that lens even tho I'd love to have some less mm for the sky, but for portraits it should be fine. Even tho it won't work for macros.
I use a 100mm macro lens for macro shots, was about 800€.

150 should be pretty cheap my 18-200 lens is about 400€. o_O

So I'm not really able to say how tamron lenses are, I just know that 18-200 mm are pretty nice, even tho not for macros, if not written in the description of the lens. =/

I guess so, but they surely write that in the description, at least they really should. :paranoid:
