The most impressive thing about this picture is the way the water covers the scissors and it`s teeth. Those drops of water falling look absolutely amazing against the black background. The grey and the black give the impression of a very deep hole.I like your idea because it is very very original. I have seen loads of pictures with different things in water, like fruits (which i noticed you tried too, and they too are pretty awesome, very powerful images). But never have I seen a pair of scissors. It's a very weird yet interesting choice. Very very good work!
